Sizzle it to Perfection – Grilling a T-Bone Steak on the Carnivore Diet

Are you looking for a way to enjoy your favorite carnivore diet meals outdoors? Look no further than grilling a juicy, delicious T-bone steak! This recipe is perfect for those days when you want to enjoy some fresh air while satisfying your cravings. Let’s get grilling!

Ingredients and Supplies

You will need a few basic ingredients and supplies in order to get started. The items you’ll need are pretty simple and straightforward, including one T-bone steak, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, butter (optional), and charcoal or wood chips (for charcoal/wood grill). Additionally, make sure you have long tongs and a thermometer handy.
Author’s Note: If you’re looking for a good Salt, Pepper, Garlic seasoning, also known as SPG, our favorite is Obie Cue’s Garlic Pepper Seasoning.

Grill Prep

Once you’ve gathered all of your ingredients and supplies together, it’s time to fire up the grill. Start by preheating your charcoal or wood grill until the coals are fully lit. Once the coals are hot enough for grilling (about 300-400 degrees Fahrenheit), spread them out evenly across the bottom of the grill. If using wood chips (for charcoal/wood grill) add them now. Now that your grill is ready to go, let’s get cooking!

Seasoning Your Steak

Now it’s time to season your steak with some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Use your hands to rub the seasoning onto both sides of the steak until it is completely covered. Make sure not to overseason as this could overwhelm the natural flavor of the steak itself. Once seasoned properly, place your steak on the hot side of the grill and let cook for 3-5 minutes depending on thickness. Flip as needed until both sides are nicely seared but not charred. Next comes perhaps one of our favorite steps…adding butter! If desired add 1 tablespoon of butter at this point for extra flavor and juiciness. Be careful when doing so as grease fires can happen quickly if temperatures get too high or too much butter was used initially! Finally check internal temperature before removing from heat with a thermometer – medium rare should be about 135 degrees F internally before serving . But note, it will continue cooking! I typically remove from the grill around 115 degrees F.
Enjoy!

Conclusion

Grilling a perfectly cooked T-bone steak isn’t as hard as it may seem; all it takes is following these simple instructions and you’re good to go! A little bit of patience goes a long way when grilling steaks – do not rush through any part of this process in order to ensure that each step is done correctly so that your finished product will be cooked perfectly every time. So grab yourself some juicy T-bone steaks next time you’re at the store – fire up that grill – and get cooking! Bon Appetit!
